HDX to Host 4th Industry Poker Tournament
During Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week 2011
Cincinnati, OH, January 6, 2011 -HDX Services will host the 4th Heavy Duty Industry Poker Tournament during the 2011 Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week at the Mirage in Las Vegas. The tournament will take place on January 19, 2010, beginning at 8:30 pm in the Mirage Poker Room. This year’s manufacturer sponsors are Bendix, Datalliance, Federal Mogul, Firestone, Grote, Phillips Industries, Precision Rebuilders, SKF, Tenneco, Timken, Truck-Lite and Wilson Electric.
"This poker tournament started as a fun way to wrap up a great week of business, but has quickly become one of the most popular events to attend and participate in on Wednesday night," said HDX Executive Director Edward Kuo. "Last year, we had over 70 entries working on a prize pool of over $6,000. In the end, however, it’s still a unique way to sit down next to and meet some of the industry’s leaders" he added.
The last tournament winner was Rick Turner from Power Train (Indianapolis, IN). Other former winners have included Terry Richeson from Richeson & Associates, and Barry Harris from The Timken Corporation. The cost to participate in the tournament will be $130 per person, of which $97 goes into the winners' pot. The Mirage Poker Room will run all aspects of the tournament and receive the remainder of the entry fees. Tournament shirts will be complimentary for the first 75 individuals officially registered for the tournament.
Interested participants can pre-register by contacting HDX prior to the event at 616-780-8112, or by sending an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org. Alternately, registration will be available throughout HDAW at the HDX Booth (#333).
